Eggcellent Bento and Eggciting Bunny Cookies Workshop at Maeli Market

This Easter, Maeli Market was full of laughter, creativity, and the amazing smell of freshly made treats! 🌸🐰

Over three fun-filled sessions on April 18 and 20, families came together for our Eggcellent Bento and Eggciting Bunny Cookies Workshop. It was an afternoon packed with hands-on activities, tasty bites, and lots of happy memories.

We kicked things off with a super fun cookie decorating session led by our talented Chef Carol. Kids and parents learned how to mix and swirl vibrant, pastel icing, then let their imaginations run wild as they drew cheerful Easter bunnies, patterned eggs, and playful spring designs on freshly baked cookies.


To make things even sweeter, we used Kuo Hua Strawberry Powder, Coconut Powder, and Cantaloupe Powder to add fruity flavors and vibrant colors to the icing. Each cookie turned into a colorful, edible masterpiece that was almost too cute to eat. 🍪🎨

Afterward, we moved into the bento-making fun. Our little chefs worked with Taiwan Taiken 9 rice, famous for its chewy texture and rich flavor, to create the cutest bunny-shaped rice balls. Add a fun twist by filling their rice balls with Wei-I Salmon Fish Floss or Wei-I Salmon Fish Floss with Laver and Sesame, making every bite savory and satisfying.

To make the bento even more fun, kids decorated fluffy, colorful sweet potato balls. They also added tender popcorn chicken and turned boiled quail eggs into adorable little egg buddies full of personality.
