Some meals arenât just about the foodâtheyâre about the feeling.
On March 14, we hosted a little something called Taiwanese Pizza Night, and honestly? It felt like home. The kind of night where the oven warms more than just the room, and the conversations feel as comforting as the food.
The best part? Everyone got involvedâfrom tiny hands stretching out dough (with very serious focus đ) to parents helping their kids layer toppings just the way they like. It wasnât about making perfect pizzas; it was about making memories.
We swapped the usual tomato sauce for something a little more âTawainese Style (ĺ°ĺł)â, such as WJ Seaweed Paste for rich umami depth, đ§ Fu Fann Garlic Butter Paste for a creamy, aromatic kick, and đŽ Fu Fann Custard Paste for a sweet, golden surprise that paired perfectly with pineapple and cheese.
Â
Some families went for the classic Three-Cup Chicken Pizza, full of bold flavor and melty cheese. Others created their own combos, like sweet custard with veggies and a sprinkle of mozzarella. No rules, just good food and creativity.
There was laughter, sauce on cheeks, cheese pulls, and proud little chefs holding up their finished masterpieces like trophies. And for a couple of hours, everyone just slowed down and enjoyed the simple joy of making something together.
Thatâs what made the night special. It wasnât fancy. It wasnât complicated. It was warm, real, and filled with heart. Stay tuned for our next foodie adventure!
